Our approach to natural rearing developed over time through personal experience and research. After seeing firsthand how diet and environmental factors impact long-term health, we transitioned to a more holistic approach focused on raw feeding, minimal chemical exposure, and supporting the dog’s natural immune system. This philosophy now extends to both our dogs and our lifestyle.
Our program is designed for families who value a natural, intentional approach to raising dogs. We understand this may be different from conventional breeding programs, and we are committed to educating and supporting families who are aligned with this philosophy.
All puppies are raised in our home, not in a kennel. They are part of our daily life and are handled consistently by our family, including our children and husband. This creates a stable,
We follow a structured but flexible approach inspired by Puppy Culture and confidence-based development. Puppies are:
- Exposed to different sounds, surfaces, and environments
- Taken on car rides
- Socialized with children, adults, and other animals
- Handled daily and worked with one-on-one
- Introduced to problem-solving through games, puzzles, and enrichment activities
- Given opportunities to explore instincts, including herding behaviors
Our goal is to raise confident, adaptable puppies that transition smoothly into their new homes
We focus on raising puppies with strong foundational health, including:
- Balanced temperament and confidence
- Proper structure and movement
- Clean health checks (heart, palate, hernias, etc.)
- Healthy digestion and energy levels
Each puppy receives a vet check and health evaluation before going home.
While we prefer no vaccinations. Many of our families choose to delay or minimize vaccines and instead use titer testing.
We understand this can be a shift for some families, and we are happy to provide guidance so you can make informed decisions.
All breeding dogs undergo full health testing appropriate for the breed, including:
- OFA testing
- DNA panels (Optimal Selection/Wisdom Panel)
- Screening for conditions such as DM (SOD1A), EIC, and vWD I
We are transparent about our testing and are happy to provide documentation.
We operate on a structured, paid waitlist:
- $100 to join the waitlist
- Once puppies are ready to be selected (around 8–9 weeks), an additional $400 deposit is placed
- Remaining balance is due at pickup (10–11 weeks)
If you are not ready to choose from a litter, your deposit can be transferred to a future litter.
We communicate directly with families on our waitlist and match puppies based on lifestyle, preferences, and needs. While we consider preferences, breeder retains first pick when applicable.
Our process is personal and relationship-based rather than a public or automated list.
Each puppy goes home with:
- AKC registration paperwork
- Vet check and health records
- Microchip (AKC Reunite, unless you opt out)
- Initial potty training foundation
- Toys (new and used for familiarity)
- Starter food and treats
- Himalayan cheese chew
- Fecal testing results
- Tips, recommendations, and care guidance
We offer several options:
- Pickup at our home in Texas
- Scheduled puppy pickup days in Stephenville or Austin, TX
- Meet at Austin airport
- Flight nanny (when necessary, though in-person pickup is preferred)
All pickups are scheduled in advance to ensure a smooth transition for both puppy and family.
We do not offer breeding rights. In select cases, we may consider co-ownership arrangements with individuals interested in showing.
